Persuasive Essay against Animal Testing Abraham Lincoln once said, â€Å"I am in favour of animal rights as well as human rights. That is the way of a whole human being.† I couldn’t agree more with this statement as I do not believe that animal testing is right and I am totally against it. One of the main reasons I am against animal testing is the fact that the animals don’t have a choice and are being forced to be tested, which can lead to them getting seriously ill or dying as a cause of the testing. Each year in the USA alone, an estimate of 70 million animals are taken away from their natural habitat, blinded, scalded, force-fed chemicals, genetically manipulated, and basically hurt and killed in the name of science, by private†¦show more content†¦It is irrational and unnecessary to use animals as a means to an end. It can be prevented. To conclude, I feel that animal testing is not right and I am against the current animal testing system, which is mandatory by law. I think the fact that the animals don’t have a choice and are being forced to be tested, which puts their life in danger, is wrong. I also believe that animal testing is the wrong thing to do when there are many alternatives that would cause no harm to animals (or humans).
